This site is about personal growth and development. Your personal development. It is for those of you who want to make deliberate conscious choices to get what you want. If you are ready to choose your destiny and are willing to put in the work to get to the place you want to be, then this site is for you. It is about challenging yourself to achieve more, to replace your bad habits with good ones, to root out the negative in your life and replace it with positive. It is about figuring out the life you want and getting it. This personal development site is about you achieving your dreams.
I started this site on personal development because I want to help people to grow and improve their lives, and in the process help myself to grow and improve. Yes, I do want to be the best I can be, and I want you to be the best you can be too. It is my passion. I started this personal developmentsite so that I can help you by encouraging you to ask yourself the hard questions and make the deliberate conscious decisions to improve your life.
My own journey in personal development has been long, sometimes slow and very challenging. I have stopped and re-started, even occasionally gone backwards, but I have grown and continue to grow. The periods with the most challenges have also been the periods of the greatest growth. And I am happy to report that I am in a much better place today than I was ten years ago. I promise you that if you make that commitment to your own personal development, you too will grow and your life will improve. As long as you are willing to do the work, you will achieve your dreams.
My intention is to help you on your journey of personal development.
I am learning more everyday and my commitment is to keep growing and keep learning. I expect this website to grow and change with me. I invite you to join me on this journey and together we can both improve our lives and fulfill our dreams.
What can this personal development website do for you?
Have you ever thought about what you could achieve if you really put your mind to it? What kind of life could you have if you really deliberately worked at it? Would you like to find out who you could be if you take your personal development seriously? Close your eyes just for a few minutes and imagine the life you want - the best possible life that you could see yourself living. Could you really achieve that? I believe that you can. Do you really want to spend another day being less happy and fulfilled than you could be? Or do you want to find out what you could actually honestly achieve? All you need is a willingness to read, the courage to make the hard choices and an eagerness to achieve your dreams.
How to get the most out of the LieslNet personal development site?
There is a fair bit of original personal development reading material on this site and you could easily get overwhelmed. So if you are new to LieslNet.com, I strongly suggest you start with the following articles. These articles give you a great idea of what LieslNet is about, what it can do for you and how you can start making your dreams a reality.
- Lead a deliberate conscious life - this article describes how you chose the life you have, and how you can choose to have the life you want.
- Achieving your goals - This is actually a series of articles which helps you to identify what you want from life and teaches you how to go about setting a plan for achieving it. It also tells you how to stick to that plan by resisting the inevitable temptations and pitfalls and keeping yourself firmly focused on your goal. In short, it gives you techniques to ensure that you achieve your goals.
Once you have read through these two personal development articles, visit the articles section and read those articles which pertain to your specific needs.

How this personal development site is supported
The service provided here is free of charge. There are no subscription fees or usernames required. All you need to provide is a willingness to read and implement. It does take a lot of time to write and maintain this website but this is my way of contributing to society and to facilitating my own personal development. If you would like to support this site I would appreciate it. You can make a donation here. Otherwise you can support the site by spreading the word about LieslNet to those you think can benefit from this personal development resource.
With regards to buying stuff, I do not sell anything off of this website. The LB shop has a list of personal development items that I recommend, and many of which I myself have used. I have listed them there for your convenience. If you want to buy one, you can simply click on it and it will take you to the relevant page at Amazon (where I buy most of my stuff). If you are going to buy one of these products (or any product from Amazon), linking to it through the LB Shop will also help support this site.
I carefully considered whether to have ads on LieslNet. I did not want to have anything on this site that would distract or disturb my readers. In the end I choose to include the ads for two reasons. Firstly, LieslNet needs to generate enough income to support itself. If it cannot support itself I will not be able to keep it online and my readers would be deprived of a (hopefully :) valuable personal development resource.
But what really convinced me to include the ads were the ads themselves. I chose mainly Google ads because I could optimize them to be related to the topic of each page. These ads are actually links to other websites and tools that are focused on personal development and they only generate income for this site when they are relevant enough to inspire you to click them. I realized that once I optimized the ads for relevance they became very useful and pertinent to the personal development issues discussed on LieslNet. Thus the ads themselves are providing yet another useful personal development resource to my readers. So I had to include them.
Lastly, but most importantly, this site is about a synergy between you, the reader and me, the author. So I would absolutely love to hear from you. You can email me here directly, or post your comments at the bottom of each article. As LieslNet is fairly new I am very much looking forward to your feedback.
